Dairy Free Flap Jack
175g dairy free butter

125g demerara sugar
2 tablespoons of golden syrup
350g porridge oats
1- Pre heat oven to 180’C gas mark 4.
2- Grease a 28cm X 18cm baking tin and line with baking paper.
3- Place the dairy free butter, syrup and sugar into a large saucepan over a medium heat and stir it all melts together.
4- Remove the saucepan rom the heat and gradually mix in the porridge oats, ensuring all the oats are covered.
5- Press the mixed into the lined baking tin
6- Cook for approximately 30 minutes until golden brown.
If you like your flapjack soft, cook for a few minutes less
Remove from the tin and cool before serving
Why not add some dairy free chocolate chips or raisins
Or even melt some dairy free chocolate and pour onto the top of the flapjack, let the chocolate set before cutting and serving
